A Business Resource hub for Small Businesses in the USA

business resourceBusiness.USA.gov is a new online platform to help America’s small businesses find services and information they need to help them grow, hire, and export. Business.USA.gov will equip businesses with the latest tools and information to support innovation and job growth.

The website combines information and services from 10 different government agencies and presents hundreds of business resources, in one place.

BusinessUSA implements a “no wrong door” approach for small businesses  by using technology to quickly connect businesses to the services and information relevant to them, regardless of where the information is located or which agency’s website, call center, or office they go to for help.

Looking forward, the more federal agencies continue to add resources to BusinessUSA to encompass the full range of business programs and services, the more we will be able to reduce the confusing array of websites that exist today. To ensure that it is oriented towards the needs of the customer, BusinessUSA will be designed, tested, and built with the active feedback of U.S. businesses.

Nice modern ‘blocky’ interface to open wizards or drill down for the information you need, or browse for ideas.

We have all dealt with government websites before and this is possibly the easiest and best laid out website they have created thus far, it actually looks like it has been designed by a normal person!

From step by step wizards for starting businesses, to easy to follow links for growing your business and researching additional funding. They have thought of everything and it’s in a familiar ‘blocky’ format that is easy on the eyes. (Sic – the lines and lines of tiny text synonymous with government sites are absent)

I found this site through answers USA gov page, which has some great links of its own.

One of the best resources you can use to help manage and grow a tutoring company is oases online. Keeping all of your staff, student and parent records in one easy to access online database. Scheduling and recording sessions, results, progress and all financial transactions. Calculate payroll and invoice customers, agencies and benevolent organizations.
