Online Whiteboard
Online whiteboards are essential for virtual tutoring sessions, but many out there come with a high price tag or cumbersome, clunky operations.
Wouldn’t it be great to find a free whiteboard that was simple to use and worked in real time?
Of course it would be! So, when I came across IDroo I decided to put it through its paces and was pleasantly surprised at the results.
Ease of Use
I logged in and created my first board in seconds, very simple.
The sharing link is the first thing you see so I sent the link to my long suffering daughter and we played back and forth.
As is expected these days she was way faster on the uptake so don’t worry about your students being able to work it, it comes naturally to them.
She did have to log in to the new board with her google account to be able to edit the board rather than just view my scribbles.
The tool bar front and center is very user friendly.
We particularly liked the formula button that opened the formula tool bar allowing for the neat creation of equations.
The white space on the whiteboard is infinite; you may use the hand to go up, down, left or right allowing flow in your tutoring session.
Pictures and documents can be uploaded (2 pages only with free account) and the tutor can drag the image or document onto the screen.
All in all this is a great whiteboard and while the free version has some limitations such as no audio, it can be used alongside Skype and it is free after all! Scroll down for price information.
Use IDroo with Oases Online
