Free Reading CurriculumFree Reading Curriculum from ReadWorks for grades K through 6, focusing on the lesson and the delivery of the lesson by the tutor. Lesson and lesson instruction provided free of charge with comprehensive ‘how to teach’ the material modules for each grade.

ReadWorks was founded in 2008 to help teachers and tutors meet the nationwide crisis in reading comprehension and help teachers and tutors improve their effectiveness through research-based, classroom-proven practices and curriculum.

Free Reading Curriculum

 As a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization, ReadWorks delivers free reading curriculum lesson plans directly to teachers and tutors online and there is no cost to educators. By engaging teachers and tutors directly, ReadWorks cuts through layers of bureaucracy. To date, more than 200,000 teachers in 45,000+ schools use ReadWorks to help improve student outcomes.

The Lessons align to the Common Core and State Standards and you can look for lessons based on a standard or pick a lesson and view the standards covered. If you are tutoring from a learning plan with specific standards these lessons will help you cover the exact material to show gains in that area as the curriculum meets ELA standards for all 50 states and are Lexile Leveled.

Maximize your tutoring effectiveness by using ReadWorks and oaSES Online as a perfect tutoring combination for students who need help with reading.
