Did you know the library of Congress has a Teachers section complete with Lesson Plans and digital medial for teaching English Language Arts?
Lessons may be searched by: Topic, Era or A-Z.
Once inside a lesson I found that the standards search did not work but if you search from the classroom materials page you can pull up materials by state or common core standards and grade, if you are working from a student learning plan featuring student goals linked to standards.
For the tutors there are some great professional development modules with multi media content that are self guided and paced.

Whilst like most government sites it is not the most user friendly to navigate, this is more than compensated for by the wonderful, rich historic media used to guide the lessons. In fact, I found the site much like an old library, exhibiting the beautiful items that you come across after a good browse, but unless you are a librarian you may not be able to put your hands on immediately.
That being said this is a site with free curriculum and stimulating materials; a great free resource for any tutoring company teaching English Language Arts.
