national tutoring associationPress Release

Lakeland, FL, October 25, 2013.

The National Tutoring Association (NTA) was founded in 1992 for the purpose of establishing a membership organization for tutoring professionals. Over the years, the purpose has expanded to promote education, specialization, and scientific research. The NTA is now the largest and oldest professional association dedicated exclusively to tutoring, and represents the interests of tens of thousands of tutors practicing in all phases of tutoring, program administration, and supplemental student services. The NTA exists to promote quality academic assistance to students at all grade and age levels through public and professional education, research, and standards of practice.

The NTA is proud to announce that it has partnered with The Tutor Report, the free online magazine of Oases Online, premier providers of scheduling and data management software for tutoring and after school providers.

Dr. Sandi Ayaz, NTA Executive Director announced the partnership and commented, “The NTA is excited about the possibilities of this new partnership that will afford our membership access to information and resources that they may not have previously had. We are confident that the Tutor report and Oasis Online will fill a gap in services that our members need.”

The National Tutoring Association offers resources and tutor training and certification and The Tutor Report offers tutors and tutoring companies articles on business building, marketing and employee relations together with the software to manage it all through its sponsor Oases Online.

The Officers, Board of Directors, and members of the NTA welcome The Tutor Report and Oases Online as our new and valuable partners in tutoring and student success.
