Send Cards & Reminders with Touchnote

Written by Kath Thoresen
Blog, Marketing Apps, business resource Comments are off

I do love to send and receive real cards, there is something so personal about them, so when my friend told me about Touchnote I had downloaded the app and was clicking around within about five minutes.

If you ever send cards to you customers as reminders or to students to say ‘well done’, then you need Touchnote.

Of course, there are lots of them out there, apps for cards that is, but Touchnote is just a little cut above the rest and here is why I know….. If my sister, who is a self confessed stationery snob, calls to tell me that a postcard was so pretty it made her cry, then it’s good.

The Things I like:
  • You can send a postcard or proper folded card.
  • You can use your pictures on the cards.
  • You can use multiple pictures, yours and theirs on the same card with layout options.
  • Add a frame.
  • Add text to the front of the card.
  • If you mail a card overseas it is printed and mailed from the nearest hub – Super Speedy.
  • The card says where the photos were taken with a little map on the back.
  • You can save a card and send to multiple different people and change the message each time.
  • The postcard is really good quality, laminated both sides, and to date the ones I’ve sent and received are pristine.

Price for a postcard is $1.99 which is high for a regular mailed card within the United States but reasonable given the editing, photo options and sheer convenience and downright cheap if sending overseas. Just pay for some credits up front or as you go. It’s so convenient I stopped and sent one whilst I wrote this article. Addicted – much!

With apps for iPhone, iPad and Android and a desktop login that synchs your cards across all platforms (does not synch your photos so the mobiles are easier for using your own pictures on the fly) this is simply the best app that I had never heard of!
