I discovered this great iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch App the other day, well ‘discover’ is stretching it a little! I was looking for something of the like and was amazed to find it.
I have millions of pieces of data that I have stored around the place on my sticky notes in outlook and on my notepad on my mac and on my phone. I even have a hard copy book with all my passwords neatly recorded, which is redundant if you think about it as if I can’t log into my computer or phone to retrieve the information then the information itself is useless. So I decided to find an App that I could use to store all of my log-ins, passwords, memberships, credit cards, passports etc.
I found My Eyes Only and began to feel that wee tremble that seriously OCD people experience when they have found something that gives them permission to continue organizing!
My Eyes Only Pro is a free App as long as you have less than 20 pieces of data to save. Naturally, I used that up in five minutes flat and threw caution to the wind and dropped $7.99 on unlimited storage and the ability to create my own categories.
If you create your own categories you can insert pre-defined fields or add custom fields and create the ‘cards of data’ to your own specifications. This made me even happier. I then synched it from my iPad to my iPhone and then under threat of bodily harm got Hubby to synch it to his iPod Touch, so he would have all the info wherever he went, I was in Seventh Heaven.
I then discovered the synching was only free for 30 days and after that it would be $14.99 for annual synching. Gosh Dang It! They got me! I will be paying for the synching as I am already hooked on this App.
