GoDaddy bookkeeping gives you a year’s free use before you need to upgrade to the full plan at $9.99 per month. Whilst it’s not marketed as a free trial it definitely gives you time to decide if the software works for you. It’s a smart move as at then end of a year, who wants to set up another system?
Formerly marketed/known as Outright, GoDaddy bookkeeping is free to enter and track your expenses and income and assign them categories. Link to your bank accounts, credit cards, Pay Pal, eBay and a number of other Ecommerce sites for automatic import of your financials.
The free service does not offer invoicing but if you are using a scheduling management system such as Oases Online that offers invoicing and payments as part of their package it would be easy to export your income from Oases and import into GoDaddy Bookkeeping.
Taxes are part of the paid service but there are some nice reports such as the profit and loss, Sales by State, Top Customers, Top Vendors and Your Spending available to users of the free product.
The pages are uncluttered and easy to navigate with lots of space and easy to understand data entry.
While this system will not help you take over the world it would be great for sole traders or small companies with staff as sub-contractors, using a system such as Oases Online or TutorFirst to manage your invoicing.[divider]
